New Year always brings with it new expectations and fresh resolutions for every person in their own way and as the world welcomes another vintage, former Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has shared what she hopes for the next 12 months.
The ace tennis woman posted a cryptic message on her Instagram stories on Tuesday, the third day of 2024.
Sania, a mom to 5-year-old son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, actively updates her Instagram account with her personal and professional life experiences with her fans and followers. On the Instagram stories, she often shares meaningful sayings and quotes.
“In 2024, I hope you find time to be happy. Not just strong,” the quote read.
Recently, Sania and former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik witnessed their son Izhaan’s first-ever participation in a sports competition and victory together.
The sports duo attended the swimming competition in which Izhaan took part.
The cricketer, while celebrating Izhaan’s first victory, wrote on Instagram, “Baba is super proud of ya… First competition & a win.”
A change in Shoaib’s Instagram bio a few months back sparked rumours of his divorce from the Indian tennis star.
Called the power couple, Shoaib and Sania remained in the headlines for quite a time last year for the reports of their alleged separation.
The two members of the athlete fraternity tied the knot in 2010 and welcomed their son, Izhaan in 2018.
However, after almost 12 years of marriage, their fans speculated Sania and Malik’s relationship had gone sour in November 2022, following some of the events hinting something was not fine between them.
Despite the fans noticing some distance between the two, the cricketer rubbished the rumours multiple times and even posted messages for Sania on social media in a span of four to five months.
