Cristiano Ronaldo, who has left no stone unturned when it comes to being a fierce competitor on the football pitch, holds a soft spot for the women in his life, most notably his mother Maria Dolores Aveiro and partner Georgina Rodriguez.
Ronaldo kicked off the new year by taking his mother, and partner out on a special night on the former’s 69th birthday.
The star footballer flew from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Madeira, Portugal on December 31 to attend his mother’s birthday — which saw Ronaldo gifting her a Porsche Cayenne, reported goal.com.
Ronaldo took to social media to offer a glimpse into the celebrations as he hosted his mother, partner Georgina, her sister, and brother and sister-in-law for a fancy dinner at a posh restaurant.
“What a special night to end a very special 2023 Family is everything,” read the caption on the star footballer’s Instagram post.
Ronaldo is currently taking some time off from football until February 12, when Al Nassr will take on Al Fehia in the AFC Champions League.
After scoring a goal in Al Nassr’s 4-1 victory over AlTaawoun on Saturday in their final 2023 match, he quickly took a plane to Portugal to spend Mother’s Day with his mother.
The Portuguese, 38, has maintained his prowess and dominance on the pitch and finished 2023 on a high note becoming the year’s top goal scorer with 54 goals.
