KARACHI: The Karachi Basketball Association and PSWA jointly organised an event to distribute Eid gifts among several players and sports organisers here in Nazimabad on Tuesday.
Former Test spinner and head of PCB cricket committee Iqbal Qasim, Sports Medicine’s Dr Parvez Rizvi and former First class player Saleem Swaleh supported the event by contributing a substantial amount of Rs173,000 for distribution on this occasion.
Former football player and sports patron DSP Khalid Javed distributed the cash amount among the players and sports organisers and praised KBBA and PSWA for organising the event for the players and also lauded their promotion of basketball in the city.
Later, KBBA president Ghulam Mohammad thanked everyone for their support and said the event is organised every year and will continue to take place with regularity for the benefit of sports and sports related people.
