Lahore Qalandars are 117-4 after 16 overs against Karachi Kings in their 2019 Pakistan Super League clash at the Dubai Cricket Stadium.
Qalandars opening pair of Fakhar Zaman and Sohail Akhtar had provided their side a brilliant start in their opening day defeat to Islamabad United.
The duo did it again, with this time Akhtar overshadowing his more illustrious strike partner. By the time Akhtar (39 off 25 balls) departed in the 8th over, Lahore had 64 runs on the board.
Zaman’s laboured 28-ball 26-run innings came to an end in the 11th over but the biggest blow came in the next one when AB de Villiers (3 off 5) was holed out in deep square leg.
