GUJRANWALA (Pakistan Post) – An anti-terrorism court of Gujranwala on Tuesday framed charges against three people allegedly involved in attack on PTI founder Imran Khan in Wazirabad during the long march.
A judge of the anti-terrorism court in Gujranwala conducted hearing of Wazirabad attack case. During the hearing, the charges were read out to the accused in the court.
The accused who were indicted include main suspect Naveed, Waqas and Tayyab Butt. The three accused, however, pleaded not guilty. The court adjourned further hearing of the case till May 25.
It may be recalled that Naveed, the main accused, is allegedly involved in firing on Imran Khan while other two accused Waqas and Tayyab Butt facilitated him providing arms.
