UAE Introduces Online Marriage Service — Get Married Virtually via TAM App in Just $218

South Asia

Abu Dhabi (Web Desk) — For just $218 (approximately 800 AED), anyone can now get married online in the United Arab Emirates through a fully digital and mobile-based process — from anywhere in the world.

The new digital marriage service, available through Abu Dhabi’s official “TAM” application, enables users to complete the entire wedding procedure virtually — including document submission, appointment scheduling, and ceremony supervision — without the need for in-person attendance.

What makes this initiative unique is its global accessibility. It’s not limited to UAE citizens or residents; foreign nationals living abroad can also tie the knot, provided they authorize a legal representative or lawyer in the UAE to handle the official process.

Applicants can simply fill out an online form, upload required documents, and appoint a marriage registrar or government official to oversee the virtual ceremony — all of which can be finalized within 24 hours.

Officials say the service reflects Abu Dhabi’s commitment to digital transformation and aims to simplify legal and personal services for citizens and expatriates alike.
