Abu Dhabi: A UAE citizen has become an instant multi-millionaire after winning a record-breaking AED 100 million jackpot in the country’s popular Lucky Day Draw — an amount equivalent to approximately PKR 7.65 billion.
According to the UAE lottery administration, the identity of the winner has not yet been revealed. However, in an audio clip shared on social media, a representative can be heard telling the winner, “You’ve won the jackpot!” to which the astonished man could only respond, “Oh my God!”
Reports confirm that the winner correctly matched all seven numbers, securing the top prize in the bi-weekly Lucky Day Draw, a lottery show broadcast live across the UAE.
The Lucky Day Draw is a legal and approved lottery system operating under the Emirates Gaming Regulatory Authority, established in 2023. All UAE residents aged 18 and above are eligible to participate in the draw.
