Karachi: Pakistan’s acclaimed actress Saba Qamar has found herself at the center of social media debate after viewers accused her of undergoing Botox and lip filler treatments.
The controversy arose following a viral crying scene from her ongoing drama serial Pamaal, where the 41-year-old actress is shown breaking down over her husband’s behavior. Viewers pointed out that her facial expressions appeared “unnatural,” claiming that Botox and fillers had altered her appearance.
Some social media users commented that Saba Qamar now appears older than before, with visible Botox effects impacting her expressions. However, a Dubai-based aesthetic doctor shared a video analyzing the scene, noting that while Saba Qamar does show minor Botox effects, the procedure was done “very professionally.”
The doctor explained that the slight stiffness in her expressions was due to light Botox application, not excessive treatment.
Despite the criticism, fans have defended the actress, emphasizing that Saba Qamar’s performance remains powerful and emotionally captivating. Many also praised her for consistently taking on bold and challenging roles in Pakistani entertainment.
