LAHORE (Sport Desk) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has voiced strong disappointment over what he termed as a lack of sportsmanship during the recent high-voltage clash between Pakistan and India.

Posting on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Naqvi wrote:
“Utterly disappointing to witness the lack of sportsmanship today. Dragging politics into the game goes against the very spirit of sports. Let’s hope future victories are celebrated by all teams with grace.”

Naqvi’s statement came after Indian players reportedly avoided customary sports gestures during the Asia Cup match, sparking criticism from fans and officials alike.

The PCB chief stressed that sports should remain free of political undertones, urging both teams to uphold the true spirit of cricket in future encounters.
