Peshawar:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has ordered an inquiry into alleged irregularities in the recruitment of paramedical staff in Mohmand district.
According to official sources, the Establishment Department has formed a special fact-finding committee to investigate the alleged misconduct in the hiring process.
A formal notification in this regard has been issued from the office of the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The committee includes Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Tashfeen Haider, and Additional Secretary Finance Department, Irshad Ali. It has been directed to complete the inquiry and submit its report within seven days.
The Chief Minister has made it clear that transparency and merit in government recruitments will not be compromised under any circumstances.
He further stated that the provincial government would not tolerate nepotism, corruption, or any form of illegal practices, emphasizing that all appointments must be made solely on the basis of competence, honesty, and fairness.
