Paris: French President Emmanuel Macron has declared that France will not open an embassy in Palestine until Israeli hostages held in Gaza are released.

According to international media, Macron said that the recognition of a Palestinian state is the result of joint and coordinated efforts, but emphasized that establishing a French embassy in Palestine is conditional on the safe release of hostages.

The French President further stressed that France strongly opposes any plans to forcibly displace Palestinians from Gaza, reiterating Paris’ commitment to a two-state solution and regional stability.
