Four-Day Anti-Polio Campaign Launched in Tank Under Tight Security

TANK (Pakistan Post Canada) – A four-day anti-polio campaign started in District Tank on Monday with strict security arrangements in place to protect vaccination teams.

According to officials, police, FC, and other law enforcement agencies have been deployed across the district, while the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) cleared sensitive locations before the campaign began.

District Police Officer (DPO) Shabbir Hussain Shah and SP Investigation Asif Mehmood inspected Basic Health Units, distribution points, and team routes, issuing directives for an immediate response in case of any emergency.

DPO Shah termed the campaign a national duty, stressing that its success depends on collective responsibility. He assured that all resources are being utilized for the safety of health workers and the public.

Authorities have instructed security personnel to remain vigilant and maintain courteous interaction with citizens during the drive.
