Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Atta Tarar, has criticized India for extending its aggressive tactics to the sporting arena.
Speaking at an event organized by the Institute of Regional Studies, Tarar said that after facing setbacks on the battlefield, India is resorting to “petty tactics” in sports. He emphasized that Pakistan has successfully exposed India’s false propaganda and responded firmly to its unprovoked aggression.
Tarar highlighted Pakistan’s constructive role in ensuring regional peace and condemned India’s attempt to portray itself as a victim despite being the aggressor. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s political, moral, and diplomatic support for the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir and stressed that the issue must be resolved according to UN resolutions.
He concluded by asserting that Pakistan’s fight against terrorism is not only for its own security but also to ensure global safety.
