Post-Mortem Report Confirms Shooting as Cause of Death of 3 Transgender Persons in Karachi

Karachi: The post-mortem of three transgender persons found dead yesterday in Memon Goth, Super Highway area of Karachi, has been completed.

Police Surgeon Dr. Samia Tariq confirmed that there were no signs of torture, but the bodies bore multiple gunshot wounds. She added that all three victims died due to excessive blood loss, and forensic samples have been collected for further analysis.

Earlier, Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon stated that investigations into the triple murder are underway, clarifying that the incident appears to be of an individual nature rather than an act of terrorism.

The bodies were discovered late at night in Karachi’s M-9 Memon Goth area, with rescue officials confirming that all three transgender victims were shot dead.
