ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Post Canada) – The second solar eclipse of the year is set to occur during the night of September 21 and 22, according to the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO).
The eclipse will begin at 10:30 pm PST on September 21, reach its maximum peak at 12:42 am, and end at 2:55 am on September 22.
While this celestial phenomenon will not be visible from anywhere in Pakistan, SUPARCO confirmed that observers in other parts of the world — including sections of the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Antarctica, and parts of Australia — will be able to witness it.
This marks the second solar eclipse of 2025, and similar to the first, skywatchers in Pakistan will have to wait longer for a chance to see one.
