RAWALPINDI (Pakistan Post Canada) – Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan, has claimed that authorities are preparing to convict her brother in the Toshakhana-II case through what she described as a “pre-decided verdict.”
Speaking to media representatives outside Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan said she had avoided engaging with mainstream media, accusing the authorities of sending “planted individuals” to create disruption.
“For two years, the media has been covering here without any incident, but now these planted people are being sent to spoil the environment,” she alleged, warning that such tactics could provoke PTI workers and result in arrests.
She further claimed that hearings in the Toshakhana-II case were being expedited inside the jail with the sole purpose of handing down another conviction to the PTI founder.
Aleema Khan also revealed that a new case has been registered against her and several party workers, terming it part of a wider campaign of political victimization.
