PTI leader Salman Akram Raja arrested for protesting alleged rigging in elections

 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and one of country’s top lawyers Salman Akram Raja was arrested from Lahore on Saturday for protesting over the alleged rigging in Feb 8 polls.

According to details, a large number of PTI workers were there outside the party office at Jail Road to start the protest against the alleged rigging in the elections.

Raja was arrested from outside the party office by the Lahore police.

“People have defied the fear and they came here to protest in huge numbers,” Raja said, moments before his arrest.
